Estimate only — not a bill. % savings applies regardless of local electricity rates. Assumes a typical modern inverter unit. Full assumptions ↓
Keen to optimize savings even more?

A Little Effort: Once in Dry Mode, adding a timed off-window right before you wake saves even more. Needs a working off-timer — more setup than the steps above.

Why 1 hour before wake? Your core body temperature naturally nadirs ~2 hours before your alarm — the hour right before you wake is when you need the least active cooling. The science behind this →

🌬️ Comfort dial (Dry Mode units)

Most units auto-lock Dry Mode at ~24°C (nothing to adjust). Some higher-end units let you set it — 26°C uses less energy than 24°C, and feels similarly cool via humidity. Same saving either way for Standard units.

💧 Bonus: Dry Mode also helps protect leather and clothing in cabinets from mould — it keeps room humidity below the ~73% threshold where mould growth begins on leather. Full details →
